Inside the 1.5 meter mark and you get a DNF :-(  The marks are on the ice (only thing I added to the photo was the text), and they show up clearly on the photo finish monitor.  Referees have nothing to do with the DNF call, it is from the judge who reads the photo finish looking for the skate tips.  An online handout will be available shortly fot this old, but now enforced finish line rule.
